If you forgot your Facebook password, you can try retrieving it from other sources like your browser’s password manager. If you had saved that password, in your browser, then you can see it in plain text from the password manager.
If you cannot find the password from the browser, you have to reset your password using the information in your Facebook account. This information includes the email address(es) or mobile phone number associated with your Facebook account.
How To Reset Facebook Password:
Go to the login page at www.facebook.com In the top right side, click on Forgot your password? Enter the email address associated with your Facebook account and search.
Facebook will bring up the account associated with the information you have searched. Depending on the information in your account, you will choose how you want to reset your password.
You can choose to have a reset link emailed to your email address or a reset code sent to you mobile phone. The phone number or email address you use must have been saved in the account before.
They are masked behind asterisks for security reasons. As the owner of the account, you should know the full email address or phone number. Select your option, and click continue. Follow the on screen instructions to finish resetting your password.
For phone number, enter the code sent to you on the website an then reset your password by defining a new password for your account.
For email option, log in to your email account and click on the reset link. The reset link might be in your spam folder.
If you no longer have access to the email address or phone number listed, click on ‘No longer have access to these?‘ You can either use your Security questions or Trusted friends to recover your Facebook account.
