Easter eggs are meant to make you have extra fun doing what you normally do. If you do a lot of chatting on Google Hangouts, you can make it more lively using animations and emojis hidden in Google hangouts Easter eggs.
Some of these Easter eggs only work at certain times of the year while some work continuously throughout the year. This list only contains Easter eggs that work with Google Hangouts throughout the year. Try them!
Google Hangouts Easter Eggs:
/ponystream This makes a ponies from ‘My Little pony’ walk across the chat window from right to left and vise versa. The animation is just for you to have fun. It will no t be sent. To remove the ponies, enter the code “/ponystream” again.
/ponies This makes one pony from ‘My Little Pony’ walk across your chat window on. It doesn’t send the animation. Send the code again to remove the pony.
/shydino This easter egg makes a small yellow house appear on your chat window. Then a green dinosaur slides from the left and hides behind the house.
/pitchforks This makes a group of people with fire and pitch forks run across your chat window on Hangouts.
/bikeshed This easter egg changes the background color of the chat window from the default white to a different color. The color is selected at random. Enter the code again to change to a different color. The background color of the person you’re chatting with will also be changed.
/shruggie This one sends this emoji ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. to the person you’re chatting with.
/facepalm This will send this face palming emoji to your chat mate. (－‸ლ).
/me This one sends your Google account avatar and name to the perrson you;re chatting with.
/tableflip This command sens the ‘table flip’ (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ character to the person you’re chatting with.
There might be other Google Hangouts Easter eggs that stopped working or some that are seasonal. The ones in this list work all year round.
