The best way to find good pre-owned domains and to sell your domains on Godaddy is through the Godaddy auctions. No two ways about that.
You could get alerts when domains of interest are about to expire and also list your domains for auction or sale and use Godaddy’s algorithms to get the best results.
But to use the Godaddy auctions service to the fullest, you need to pay an annual membership fee which in my opinion, is totally worth it! But when you’re not using the service, it’s better to cancel your membership.
How To Cancel GoDaddy Auctions Subscription / Membership
Simply log in to your GoDaddy account on your web browser with the correct username / password combination. Then click on your name in the upper right side of your screen. From the menu that drops down, select ‘Renewals and Billing’.
This will take you to the Manage your Billing page where you can see your billings and subscriptions including your domain and hosting renewals if you have any. Among those, will be your GoDaddy Auctions – Membership.
Click on it once to select it and then click on ‘Cancel Renewal’ at the top of the screen. A small window will pop up giving you three cancellation options.
You could cancel that membership and enjoy the benefits of your current membership by choosing the second option as explained in the video below.
The first option will ccancel automatic renewals but reatin the subscription and remind you to make a payment when it expires.
The third option will cancel your subscription and end the current membership and its benefits immediately. It’s upto you to choose how you want to cancel. Pick your choice and confirm you want to cancel. You’ll see an confirmation that you cancelled your Auctions membership and also get an ?Email from Godaddy confirming the same.
