Try out other different sites, then bookmark those you like. If you don’t know the name of the song, you can search using the part of the lyrics that you know!
Listen To Songs With a Player Displaying The Lyrics
There are many popular music players, available like Spotify and Apple Music that can display the lyrics as the song plays. These apps don’t show the lyrics of the song they’re playing by default. You have to ask for it to show. The beauty of these apps is that they can sync the lyrics with the song so that the part that’s playing is highlighted in the lyrics which makes it easier for you to even learn a song.
Use YouTube (Lyrics)
YouTube has a huge catalog of music videos and that’s what YouTube is meant for anyway; music videos. But by using the Subtitles feature inside YouTube, you can actually get the lyrics of a song. YouTube’s smart algorithms will display subtitles of the audio in the video and display it for you at the bottom.
Alternatively, you can search for the lyric version of the song in question. There are people who have dedicated their lives to making lyric version of songs on YouTube and most f them are usually pretty accurate.
Use Song Identification Tools
Sometimes you’re just at a restaurant or in a bus and you hear a song that you like and you want to find out the lyrics.
Download an application like Shazam or SoundHound, then activate its listening feature. Hold your phone towards the speakers when the music is playing. Theses apps will identify the song, and even display for you the lyrics while highlighting the parts playing in real time.
If you’re on a computer, then a site like Midomi can identify songs for you. Then you can search for the lyrics of the song on Google or on YouTube.
