When I last checked how many Facebook groups I’m in, I have to say I was shook. Over time, you might find yourself in Facebook groups you don’t know how you got into, or some you’ve had enough of and you want to leave.
Luckily it’s extremely easy to leave a Facebook group. The good part is, other members will not be notified that you left the group. But they might notice if they do some digging.
To leave a Facebook group, all you need to do is sign in to your Facebook account, navigate to the group page, then click on the menu button and select ‘Leave Group’.
It’s as simple as that. You’ll leave the group immediately. Before confirming the action, you have an option to stop other people from inviting you to join that group again.
You can also leave a Facebook group from the mobile app. Launch the app, then tap on the menu and select ‘Groups’. Then tap on the ‘My groups’ button to see a list of all your Facebook groups.
Select the group you want to leave and tap on the options button in the top right corner, then tap on ‘Leave Group’ .
