Dark mode seems to be the new way to uae all electronics an web services. The jury is still out on whether dark mode actually helps your eyesight, but one thing’s for sure, it saves power; especially on OLED panels.
But since Quora traditionally has a bright white background on both the web interface and on the mobile app, dark mode was inevitable.
How To Enable Quora Dark Mode
Fortunately, it’s extremely easy to enable dark mode on Quora. Go to Quora and sign in to your account.
Note: You can not enable Quora dark mode without signing in because it’s the only way to access the menu.
Click on your profile picture (or avatar) in the menu bar at the top and a menu will drop down.
On the mane, you should see the ‘Dark Mode’. option with a toggle switch next to it. Click on that and it will immediately turn in to dark mode.
The text will be white and the links all turn blue. In my opinion, it looks and feels (in the eyes) much better this way!
How To Enable Quora Dark Mode On Mobile
You can also do this on the mobile app; especially on the mobile app which you’re likely to use in a dark room.
Once again, launch the app and sign in to your account. Then tap on the profile pic (or avatar) in top left corner. A menu will slide open from the left of the screen.
Find a light bulb icon in the menu. That’s the button to toggle Quora dark mode on and off. Try it!
